Today was a beautiful day! I attended my little brothers baseball game, the game with good weather! They lost unfortuneatly... But only by one run. And they won last night 21-1, so... i think today's loss was ok. I cleaned lots, which, weirdly, was nice. And i finally saw the new Star Trek. AWESOME!! It made me want to start watching the shows again... Lol. I wont. Maybe. ;) And then Miles had his birthday party. I cant believe how grown up everyone is. Danny graduates at the end of the month, Miles is now officially a teenager (please save me!)... It does not seem like its been three years since i graduated, and i dont feel 21. Well... Sometimes i feel a lot older than that... But its getting to be less and less often.
This month has been a month of changing and growing. With the changes i mentioned before and then my little cousin getting ready to head to Korea for his mission, dear Maylee and Ben turing 8 and getting baptized, when it seems like just yesterday they got here from Taiwan. And then my cousin Chris blessing his second child... Sometimes i feel like time is at a stand still, and then when i sit back and really take a good hard look at what is going on around me... It feels like time has just flown by and I've been too wrapped up in myself to enjoy it or even notice it.
Summer tends to be a time when i sit around and do nothing but read and vege. And this year, i've decided that i dont want to do that. I'm still gonna read. Cuz... Well. I love reading. But I actually want to be able to look back at my summer and feel as though i've done something with it. whether it ends up being just that i get into shape fianlly. or that i spend time with my brothers and actually learn the rules of baseball so i can cheer them on and know what i'm talking about. I dont care. But i feel like this summer is going to be a turning point in my life, and i dont want to be so wrapped up in myself (or a book) that i miss the opportunity. I'm 21 and there are days that i feel like i've accomplished nothing in my life, except for maybe high school and a few years of college. But no more! By the end of the summer i will do something. I will improve my life and the life of someone around me. that is my goal. and i'll try to keep you posted. :)

My summer has been kicked off with the reading of a new series call The Hunger Games. Oh boy are they intense. I've read to two that are published and now I have to wait until August 23 for the next one. I hate waiting. But reading is what makes my summer. Last summer i read over 30 books. This summer, i doubt i'll read that much just cuz i'm gonna be busy. But i'm still gonna be reading a whole lot!
